We did it! Our very first woman’s only festival! And it was a huge success! Over 400 women from all over the UK joined us (along with their children) to celebrate the first ever festival! I’m sure its one many of us will not forget (especially the rendition of Celine Dion on Saturday night)
We danced, we sang our hearts out, we went to war on the inflatables (if you went on that one with the harness then you know what I mean) we relaxed and did yoga and meditation and got pumped up in the fitness classes. Not forgetting the lake fun with inflatables! But don’t just take our word for how amazing the weekend was, I will leave you with some of our survey reviews we got afterwards:
“The festival was absolutely amazing and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I got to be a part of it. I came with my best friend (who I met at my first wild wanderers event) and we both loved it. Loved the raffle, bar, inflatables, area in general.”
“The whole organisation of getting people in was great. I came on Saturday and Mel answered her phone straight away and came to get me. Also the quick reaction to things like toilet roll running out. I work in marketing and do a lot of events, and I know how stressful it can be and how many things pop up that you didn’t anticipate. You guys did an amazing job at handling everything! I also loved the music. And I think a lake is a must at future venues!! :)”
“Well organised and loads of activities for children and adults. If the children are happy the adults can have a good time too”
“I came solo and I can’t tell you how friendly and inclusive it felt. Everyone had a smile, everyone made friends, it felt judgement free, safe, fun, all of that!”
So what’s next? Were straight back to work on Wild Wanderers Fest 23! We’ve learned a lot from this one, we are going to have more bigger and exciting activities next year for adults and the kids! As soon as we have our dates and location confirmed we will let you all know!
Huge thanks to everyone who came and made it the most special weekend!
